| The American College of Applied Science is licensed by the Commission on Independent Education, Florida Department of Education, license no. 3145 to operate as a private degree granting institution of higher education. The legal right to operate a college or university in the United States comes from its home state and the Commission for Independent Education, Florida Department of Education reviews and approves all ACAS programs, administration, faculty and facilities on an annual basis including site visits at the college’s offices.
